Bidra med feedbackIf you're in the mood for authentic Dominican food and find yourself in Jersey City, this is the spot to visit. I really appreciate the variety of dishes available for both dining in and take-out every day. They even open in the morning for breakfast! I tried the "tres golpes," and it was one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had.
For the rice, I had the option of white rice, yellow rice, or yellow rice with kidney beans; I opted for the yellow rice with kidney beans. For the beans, I could choose between black beans or kidney beans, and I went with the black beans. For the chicken, I could pick between baked chicken or chicken stew, and I chose the stew. My meal was served in a take-out aluminum bowl, and I was really pleased with my selection. I left feeling full and satisfied—that food really hit the spot! I paid in cash, and I’m not sure if they accept credit cards; I doubt it, given that it’s a small family-run restaurant. There is, however, an ATM inside if you need cash. You can either dine in or take your food to-go. I highly recommend this restaurant, and I encourage everyone to support small businesses!
There were flies buzzing around, and the food wasn't covered. The chicken appeared dry, and while I understand it’s inexpensive, I can't help but wonder why it has to be like this.
The restaurant was fine. The driver left my food in the wrong building and was pretty crappy about it.
Nice variety of Good food, Good looking service and great price, one of the best Dominican restaurants I’ve been ??
