Deli Plus - Jersey City

Perfect placement for a quick deli to get just about anything to eat for anyone. Friendly staff and the owner is pretty cool as well. He interacts with almost everyone. Exactly what a good business owner should do.

Overpriced fruits. I would rather jump on the path to Grove Street and get it from the supermarket. I can't wait for the new supermarket to open upstairs to put this business out of business.

No prices listed on the shelf meaning you don't know it until you checkout at the register. Coconut water for over $7 which is twice as much as other stores. I thought being a Deli would be cheaper than other brand stores like Walgreens, but even more expensive! The store doesn't have clean air but rather an overwhelming smell of food along with dirty floors. They also have a 3.5% charge for using the card. I am sure they are evading the taxes by encouraging the cash transaction!

Shelf items are overly priced. That too being in jersey city they’re charging even more in comparison to Manhattan. Rude behaviour and no bill provided for the items purchased. They’re charging 4.70 for Celsius drink while you get the same upstairs at Duane for 2.29. Won’t recommend it. Would rather suggest going to Duane reade upstairs for best prices.

Overpriced. You get less for your money. They are desperate to save money and product and will give half a portion on a sandwich and price it as though it’s full.
