La Gruta - Jericó

We had a party of 6 at the busiest lunchtime. Had to sit fast. We thought to try another restaurant since there was a line. I'm glad we waited outside. I had grilled fish and I loved her little salad with the smallest tomatoes and strawberries. For the first time there was a sugar cane drink. It smells a little cinnamon, but my family says it's just sugar cane extracts served cold with water. They said it was good for health and I'm not sure that drinking sugar water is as good: tastes like sweet tea. Everyone was happy with his meals. Some people had a stone bowl. It holds a number of different meat types and fried plantain. Try next time.

Plato Del dia is the best deal, but I had the garlic trout... loved the salad, served first. Nice restaurant, the stairs up... the many locals.... especially ok.

An excellent deal at lunch time with the menu del día at 8000 pesos. Includes a soup, a main (which was fish on the day I went) and I think included a beverage as well. The menu is different in the evening and includes pizza but I did not have it so cannot comment on the quality. I would recommend. Only downside is the waitress who served me seemed very unhappy.

I just finished my meal in La Gruta an hour ago, recommended by the hotel, I am in a block away. After an almost 4 hours drive from Medellin, I had a great appetite and the steak that served them together with the salad and was delicious potatoes from the charts. Great atmosphere in the restaurant, friendly staff, I saw the hamburgers at the table be served next to me, it also looked delicious! You get excellent value for money here, my complete steak menu with drink was 26 mil or about $9. USD! A few weeks ago I ate at the McDonalds in Cucuta and my Hamburger and Pommes with Softdrink came to 25.900 COP.

Súper rico el ajiaco y muy abundante. Muy lindo el lugar. Estuvo un poco lenta la atención de los meseros.
