Arlo's Fish Chips - Jennings Lodge

I’m from the wonderful state of Maine, and I consider this my top choice in Portland, Oregon. The two women running the place are absolutely delightful.

Absolutely the best fish and chips I've ever had! The customer service is exceptional. Now that I live in Seattle, this place is definitely on my must-visit list.

I've been a fan of the food at Argos for a long time and have recommended it to many friends. However, on our last two visits, the fish we've ordered has been disappointing—it was so rubbery that we couldn’t eat it. We’re really sad about this, especially since my husband loves the place. We're now unsure if we will give it another try. Sorry to say.

Absolutely wonderful fish. Driving three geriatric cousins to California and we stopped here to meet another handful of cousins. Perfectly fried fish and fantastic owner. Thank you! It's worth the drive from Seattle.
