Archies Tavern - Jenkintown

I was in the mood for authentic British fish and chips and found Kings Corner in search. Never authentic fish and chips I have nothing to compare. I can say that the fish and chips I ordered were very good and good too expensive. I also ordered the cheese logs that were much bigger, then cheese sticks safe. Both were good and I remained satisfied. The place has the standard powder food, but a few unique menu elements. The staff was friendly and prompt and the place was clean. I'd go back when the desire comes back.

A blink and you miss it hole in the wall. Very nice interior with some of the best staff I was served. The atmosphere as a whole is comforting and the food is perfect. Their chips are very made in English style, along with one of the best $10 sandwiches I've ever had the pleasure of eating. A strong cotender for my favorites stop after work!

Had an explosion in our first trivia night. The food was to love our fresh from the oven Brownie sunflower. Next time we can sit outside on the cool looking terrace... And btw so beautiful to be in a pub with great lighting that is not claustrophobic!!

Hanging out my Go-to-Viertel is always amazing... from the Buffalo-Cauliflower, to the fish and chips, to the great selection of beers...it never disappoints! The staff is always welcoming and offers a great service.

The food doesn't match the price point. The food is delicious and super cheap! I'm not certain if they're a bar with good food or a restaurant with good drinks. Either way, you're in for a treat!
