Jekyll Island Seafood Company

Eating is inspiring. we ate here two nights in a row based on the restaurants near our hotel. the positive is that the exterior are really beautiful and service was attentive and fast. the children's menu and eating are good. the rest of the food is disappointing. the fishtacos ordered and the fish share were tiny and did not appear fresh. we also ordered salat with salmon and we believe that the salmon was a frozen salmon. the waitress has not written our order and then forget that we order an appetizer. we wouldn't go back.

Very good restaurant and service. the garnel and grits were excellent. the crab and maissian was not so desirable. would be revisited if back in the opposite.

I was not impressed by eating or service. I don't think it was much of a seafood place. the menu looked like mostly south.

Food was very good. From seafood to burgers! Cool ambience. Service was poor. Hostess couldn’t hide annoyance when we asked that our outside reservation be moved indoors. Waitress unknowledgeable of the menu, didn’t know beers, said mud pie dessert was chocolate when it was coffee, etc. No bartender on a Friday night. If the restaurant can hire better staff then this is a fantastic experience!

Great food and good service! Peach cobbler is outstanding!
