Very friendly, accurate, quick service. Pricing is reasonable. Staff is so courteous and helpful. Short staffed , but the ladies always get it done. Chocolate covered cherry flurry is on point! I stopped after seeing their sign that said Thursday Special Chicken Dumplings . While sitting in line at the drive-through I wondered why it was taking so long but when I got to the menu board, I figured out why, there was no speaker to place orders. So each car drove to the window and sat there until the order was done. When I finally got to the window I ordered the Chicken and Dumplings so I could take them for lunch the next day. I also ordered a chocolate dipped cone thinking I could eat that when I got home. They brought my cone very quick and then said Now I gotta make the Chicken and Dumplings . I thought that was odd but I sat and waited and waited and finally they brought them to me. My cone had started melting so instead of eating it on my patio at home I had to eat it sitting at the window waiting on my food. The next day I had the Chicken and Dumplings for lunch and it wasn 't terrible, just very bland. I think they were probably frozen. I might give them a try again but will definitely not go through the drive-thru.

This is an absolute hidden gem. I've lived in the region for 25 years and it took a visit to the dentist to hear about this great old timey diner. I arrived on a Thursday and enjoyed their dumpling dinner (see picture). The portion was ample, and the dumplings were like mom's. The fried mushrooms were outstanding...great breading. This is a must do if you live or visit Southern Indiana. You can thank me later.

We absolutely LOVE this place! They are so friendly the prices are more than fair and the food is PHENOMENAL. We went through the drive through and I ordered the fried bologna and egg sandwich for my 2 year old and they cut it in 4 pieces without me asking which was really thoughtful! Their chili is delicious!!! I ordered the pint without noodles and she gave it to me in a cup with flap lid so I was able to eat it without a spoon on the way home. I really really like this place and can't wait to go back and try everything else on their menu. Thanks so much Golden Twist staff!
