Madison's Cafe - Jefferson City

Delicious Wide variety of food, excellent service, very nice atmosphere. A group of us dined at Madison 's recently.......and so enjoyed it, we hope to make it a regular 'date '. Their menu is very large and we anticipate trying new items with each visit. Our group of 6 have a wide variety of tastes and some special dietary needs. Madison 's was able to fulfill everyone 's requests. Our gluten free friend thoroughly enjoyed the Crab Stack had avocadoes, bell peppers, pico de gallo and fresh crab meat with their oil and vinegar dressing on the side. It was beautiful presentation and large enough that a couple of us tried a bite and it was as good as it looked. They also had gluten free pasta available but our friend chose the Mussels as did another in our group they both LOVED it. One of us is a vegetarian and they have numerous choices that are actually noted on their menu . Try their Combination salad. As for me, I love meat and so does my husband and the Chateau Briand for two sliced and served at the table ! was amazing a special touch with several sides, and salad choices that came with it a true bargain at the very reasonable price of about $50 TWO and we even had some left over to take with us. The waiter was friendly, and considerate but not intrusive...They even had gluten free crackers in place of the warm bread. While we were very full, we could not resist trying and sharing the crème brulee oh my goodness it was so good just the right crisp top, and creamy center. We hope to sign up for one of their Food and Wine Pairings. All and all a very nice, fun, dining experience and we all look forward to returning.

Very good!. We started out with the Stuffed Mushrooms which were ok. Then we ordered the Rigatoni Carbonara and the Cannelloni. Both were absolutely excellent. Service was good, the atmosphere very pleasant, and, overall, we really enjoyed our dinner. Incidentally, the Italian bread they brought to the table was also delicious. Four out of five stars!

Not my favorite place but I will go back. The owner is great the service lukewarm and the food was pretty good. Location is great.

Best Calimari I've ever had. We like to go to Madison's about once a month. The steaks and pasta are usually good and the calimari app is by far the best I've ever had. The drinks are a little pricey, but overall we enjoy the experience.

I like the food but I also think its quite pricey for what you get.
