Taco Loco Mexican Grill - Jasper

The exterior may not give it away, but the food and service here are exceptional! This is Jasper's best-kept secret!

I ordered the mega burrito, and honestly, I would have had a better experience at Taco Bell! It cost me $14 for a burrito that was mostly filled with rice. The last time I tried the chimichanga, it was just as light. I thought they might just be having an off night, but I've decided not to give them any more chances. From now on, I'll be sticking with Taqueria Raquel down the road.

Unfortunately, the food leaves much to be desired—it's unappetizing, excessively salty, poorly presented, lacking flavor, and not well-cooked. I wouldn't recommend spending your money here. After my meal, I had a rough time the following day with stomach issues, including multiple trips to the bathroom. This put a damper on my plans while visiting the local antique malls, as I had to stay close to a restroom. I think I may have exhausted the city’s fresh water supply; my apologies for that. I’m seriously considering reporting this restaurant to the Health Department. As for parking, the lot was empty, which should have been a red flag for me to choose a different place.

This food truck has really good options for vegan and vegetarian lifestyles. We recently got their vegetarian soft tacos and they were amazing. The only thing I didn't care for was their Mexican corn, I expected it to be on a cob, but it wasn't and we were not informed of that when we purchase the Mexican street corn. The corn seemed like it came from a can and not straight from the cob. It tasted okay but it was very watered down and did not have that authentic Mexican street corn flavor.Overall I'm very satisfied with their service, selection and quality of the vegetarian tacos that we ordered.I will definitely be back to try some of their other menu items but not the Mexican Street corn.

This is a Great little eye catcher driving down the road. We stopped in on our way back out of town and they had great food. So if you want Mexican Food this is it.
