Charlie's Place - Janesville

We tried Charlie's Place for a late lunch Wednesday. I was surprised by how busy it was on a Wednesday afternoon. There is central bar with stools around 80% of it and also additional tables. Most of the bar seats were taken. The vibe is very much a local's hangout. We sat at the bar. The bartender was friendly and gave us menus. She made me a tasty Bloody Mary, spicy, the way I like it. For lunch, we ordered off the specials board and had turkey and ham melts with crinkle-cut fries. Tasty. It wasn't fancey, but we left satisfied, and the prices were reasonable. Definitely seems like a good place to get a drink and a bite to eat at a reasonable price. We'll definitely go back

What a surprise might not look like a great place for a great burger from the outside,but WOW the Charlie Burger

The burgers are excellent! And service is always friendly. Theo did a great job!

Stopped in as we haven't been there in a long while. Had the Charlie burger and fries along with a genuine draft. It was all great. Plan on stopping back when we are back in town.

Charlie burger is the best in town, one of those you crave and have to have. We have them whenever the craving sends you there. Friendly staff and good drinks (never a weak drink). I recommend the place and the food.
