On a hot sunny day, we sat in their garden under a large canopy, enjoyingtheir home cooked food, the liver with bacon, onions and mash,plus a jugof extra gravy was freshly cooked and excellent . have had other mealsthere equally as good .Friendly,helpful staff .

Nice atmosphere, great hosts, lovely food and the courtyard is gorgeous in the winter sun!

To reach 2 stars. some bar staff are pleasant and sympathetic, others seem upset to be there. Avoid the white wine at all, it should come with a health warning. Eat before they go, eating is best avoided. the atmosphere depends on every organized activity and the mood of the owner.
