Bidra med feedbackThe first time with Vito’s. the pizza was perfect and this garlic knot! yummmm. that's worth it.
When I called and placed a carry out order they said the wait was going to be 45 minutes. She confirmed 45 minutes several times on the phone and since it was a Saturday night, I assumed the wait was because they were very busy. When I got my pizza it seemed like it was sitting for about 25 minutes, not very hot. Especially when the customer in front of me, their pizza was steaming from the box. After I heated up the pizza when I got home in the oven, it was absolutely amazing. Ordered an XXL (18 pepperoni for $25
Greek salad was great! However for the price the portion was small and although the dressing was ok, I would love to see see homemade Greek dressing. Maybe due to covid they have to use prepackaged dressing. I tasted my friend's dish of meatballs and they were excellent as was the garlic bread. Service was also excellent. I would recommend Vito's.
This is real, authentic Italian food. No matter which Italian restaurant I go to, fancy or not, no one tops Vito and his family's sauce. All others are not fresh and they put too much seasoning to hide the lack of freshness. I know good food, since I moved from New York and I can't find a better place so I stopped looking. If anyone has something negative to say, they don't know what real food is, especially here in Florida where good Italian food is hard to come by. Franchise places could never cone close to marching up. This place is the Best!
Best Calezone ever. Marinara sauce was perfect, tasty, smooth. The young man waiter was so nice and polite. Only problem is...we live in Savannah.
