Bidra med feedbackNot one to be cynical or negative, it's tough to have only one good thing to say about GG. The hamburger was good. But even so, I was lucky to get it! When ordering, our group was bluntly informed that there were only 7 hamburgers available. Hmmm...and we were the first customers of the evening! The negatives: rude/unwelcoming service despite having made reservations, 2 hour wait for meals, dirty kitchen & bathroom, resident pit bull & customer's dog fight which was heart-stopping, bugs. Most of our group of 20 felt the same and said they would not be returning. Is GG a victim of its own success?
Gringo Gordo (aka Dennis) delivers fabulous meals from his open kitchen and babeque. Way more than just hamburgers, his steaks, fish, and pork dishes are why we go there often. Great salads too! He really knows his cooking.
We kept hearing about the hamburgers at this American owned restaurant. The meat patties were tasty enough but the buns were so soggy that we ended up discarding the bread and eating the remnants with knife and fork. Indifferent service from the American lady owner: she treated us like we were a burden.Nice solo guitar player.
My husband and I both had the fish and chips. Very good. Our friends order the fish tacos and were also impressed. Nice atmosphere. They had a band so we got a few dances in. The place was very busy. The owners kept apologizing for the delay but we were happy listening to the music and she kept our wine glasses filled on the house. Very impressed. Will definitely go back!
We enjoyed a very good meal in a pleasant outdoor atmosphere. They had a 3 piece group playing oldies but goodies, which we enjoyed for nostalgia sake. We will gladly return.
