Bidra med feedbackThey had 3 vegan bagel options and 2 of them were savory. Your luggage is fire.
Really wanted a bagel and found this beautiful place with vegan options. The bagel is well done. I'm from NY and certifying it's a well made authentic tasting bagel. I had only the roasted bagel with vegan cream cheese option, but there are about 3 other options on the menu next to just get it clear that you are out that vegan. The staff is very fast and friendly and there is a spacious sitting area to eat. Overall, I have no complaints and was very happy.
Let me get my credentials first: I lived in Brooklyn and my diet is 90% Carbs, so I know Bagels. The bagels here are really good, and not just from outside the US standards. You get a good bagel with a nice snap on the outside and a correspondingly doughy interior with the right amount of chewing. So much I absolutely love to grab a simit (or three) every day, sometimes a small taste of home is beautiful, and Bagel House supplies. The chickpea salad sandwich was pretty good with a nice spice beat, and the carrot cake was absolutely divine. A touch of cinnamon, not too much sugar, beautiful and damp. Get a slice and a cup of tea, take a place and watch the day.
I really wanted a bagel and discovered this lovely restaurant with vegan choices. The bagel was fantastic. As a native New Yorker, I can attest that it was an authentic and well-made bagel. I tried the roasted bagel with vegan cream cheese, but there are also three other vegan options on the menu for those who prefer them. The staff was quick and friendly, and there was plenty of seating available. Overall, I had no complaints and left very satisfied.
Before I provide any information, I must say that I have lived in Brooklyn and my diet consists of 90% carbohydrates, so I consider myself quite the bagel connoisseur. The bagels at this restaurant are top-notch, surpassing even American standards. They have the perfect crispy exterior with a soft, chewy interior that I absolutely crave. I love to indulge in a simit (or three) here daily, as it reminds me of home and the quality of bagel is unmatched. The chickpea salad sandwich had just the right amount of spice and the carrot cake was incredibly delicious - not too sweet, moist, and perfectly balanced. Grab a bite to eat, sip on a cup of tea, and relax while enjoying the day at this lovely spot.
