Bold Arms - Isle of Anglesey

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, I was unable to travel, so I informed the hotel. However, they were adamant that they would still charge me, citing the pandemic and high infection rates as not valid excuses to stay safe and avoid traveling.

We had an amazing stay at this restaurant! The welcome was nice and we were amazed by the room. We loved the eclectic decoration and appreciated the nice touches, such as Welsh cakes, a big refrigerator with fresh milk, and a smart TV with Netflix. For £90 per night, we felt that it was great value. The only downside was that parking in Beaumaris was a problem. We will definitely come back to stay again, as the room and the host were top quality.

We have just returned from a fantastic stay at The Bold Arms in Beaumaris. The rooms at The Bold have recently been renovated to a high standard, and I have also posted some photos. The rooms are extremely comfortable with either two or super king size beds, modern and bright decor, and a great selection of tea and coffee accessories, including various teas, coffee, and even Welsh cakes and cookies. Each room also has a private bathroom with a shower and all necessary toiletries. The owners are very helpful and friendly, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. On the ground floor, there are two bars with pool tables and a lounge bar. Additionally, there is a lovely back garden area which is a perfect spot to relax with a drink. We were fortunate to have sunny weather, so we spent some time there. The Bold Arms is conveniently located in the heart of Beaumaris, close to the castle, pier, restaurants, and shops. Thank you for a wonderful stay, and we will definitely be returning.

We went a few times in this pub, very friendly people and the place was clean. it had a playroom and a beer garden on the back

Only a 2 night stay in July 2021. welcoming and friendly. recently decorated and very clean. would recommend. not serving food when we were there but recommended good alternatives.
