Nikai Sushi - Cheeca Lodge & Spa

Very nice. eating was amazing. the service was slow, but this is probably due to personal problems. very accommodating. we celebrated our jubilee and they brought us a surprising free desert.

Server made several inappropriate commentaries, as a person in our party sweated (although nothing offered to help) also tried to put us in the order of the special appetizer, although we said we were not interested. we were the only table there and it took 20 minutes to get our food out. we ordered several rolls and one of our party chose not to eat much rice. the self from any reason felt it appropriate to comment on it with a view of “what is wrong with it”. the table next to us came about 20 min after we did and we received our food at the same time (they had another server) we waited for our server to clear our plates after eating for about 10 minutes. as soon as she desserts the plates she commented, almost shaded us for not wanting to dessert. it took 10 minutes to get the check. when we all left, including the Sushi Church, we stared at, not a word. this restaurant should be avoided. there are many far better options on islamorada.

The quality of the fish could have been a little better, but overall nice. The torched avocado was AMAZING
