Auberge du Mont Gelé - Iserables

Rarely spared such coffee restaurants in authentic old style of a village. And this village by itself , was quite spared of modern times. In the bar you still see the local village ones over drunk, but sympathic !!!! Food is nice , service is smiling and sincere. You can have international entrecote or filet of beef , fish , perches...and local authentic fondu and raclette ...

Go to this restaurant in good weather (warm and clear), arrive early, so you can sit at one of the best places on the terrace and enjoy a fantastic view while you eat. Service was rapid and friendly, the food was good. Maybe not the cheapest in Isérables, but nowhere else will you get the same unobstructed view. Use the cable-car to come up from Riddes, the ride is an adventure in itself.

Superb terrace! Wonderful tomato fondue. Delicious seasoning. Generous portions. We will come back!!!

Very nice staff and beautiful views. What made me extremely happy was the hygiene. Super clean bathroom and room. Really great! Too bad there was no vegan breakfast. However, understand how as it is not a habit. Still highly recommended

Wir machten nur eine kleine Pause zum Mittagessen und aßen Apfelkuchen mit Eis und Bier. Der Service war sehr freundlich und die Aussicht über das Tal war hervorragend. Nicht zu teuer.
