La Vera Umbria - ISEO

My friends took me to La Vera Umbria on Sunday for lunch. It was sunny and warm. We tried to call the restaurant several times to book a table without success. When we arrived around 13h30, the restaurant was fully booked but they asked us to wait a few minutes. After less than 10 min. a table became available and we got a nice table outside. A nice waitress came immediately to give us the menu and a few minutes after came back to take our order. Less than 10 minutes after we were served. There is a large choice of pizzas. Service is fast and professional. The pizza was good, thin and we enjoyed the tiramisu. They explained to us that during the weekend they are over-busy so they do not have time to answer the phone. Therefore, should you want a table on the shores of the lake for the weekend, better call during midweek or arrive early or late. In conclusion, a nice Sunday lunch.

Unfriendly and ‘fastfood’ There are much beter restaurants in Iseo to find…. We judged the book by the cover, but it was far from wurthed ! Just a ordinary pizzeria.

Tutto perfetto: personale cortese, servizio veloce e attento nonostante il grande ripieno, pizza davvero buona per gli amanti della pizza sottile, materie prime di qualità, prezzo corretto. Bene!

è un bar mitico e un bar dove possono accogliere personale attento scrupoloso e amichevole.

If you want pizza on this lake then this is the place. The restaurant is modernly setup and nice, and the food is relatively priced well with pizza at about €9 to €12. It is huge, thin and crispy with a smoked smell and taste! We enjoyed the food so much that we stayed for dessert and coffee.
