Bidra med feedbackFinally... Authentic Samosa 's!!!. I LOVE Indian food and that 's why I am excited to have finally found a place in the US that serves REAL and AUTHENTIC samosa 's! <br/ <br/ The typical American may think that they know Indian food, but unfortunately they do not. I was raised in the UK, traveled the world and have dined in the homes of people from India. What is classified as a good Indian restaurant in this country would not even last a year in the UK. <br/ <br/ I was shocked by some of the reviews that think that the samosa 's served in this restaurant are strange or somehow wrong. I can tell you this... The samosa 's here are actually AUTHENTIC and how a SAMOSA should be. Please do not compare them to the huge deep fried 'things ' they serve in 99% of the Indian restaurants in this country. I can assure you, what most places serve are not even samosa 's. In fact, I think they are some sort of weird thing created for the American pallet and the restaurant owners just call them samosa 's and serve them because it 's what people expect. Just look at the reviews of some of the people who finally experience a real samosa and start complaining! I have no idea why? The samosa 's here are AWESOME!
Hit the Spot!. I had been craving spicy for almost two months when I came across Samosa 's. I was in town for a few days and thought id give it a try. I was so glad we did! It satisfied my craving perfectly and was above expectation.....I could have enjoyed it each and everyday I was in town if I wasn 't committed to trying all the different tastes of North Texas! Friendly service, quick, easy, reasonable prices, great portions and most of all delicious! The atmosphere doesn 't give you a 'date night ' vibe but for an evening meal that you will be impressed with...give it a shot!
Good prices and good food. The workers are helpful and friendly, and the food is interesting. It's not straight Indian, so if that's what you're looking for you may be disappointed or confused. It's more of an Indian African fusion. The flavors and style of the food is great and overall the food is delicious. I would recommend the Veggie Tikka Masala or Pili Pili. The Currys are good, and the samosas are excellent. The only problem I have is that the food is not always consistent. 4 5 times the food is great... But that other 1 5 of the time, the food is subpar. Overall, I like the restaurant and the people. I would recommend this to anyone interested in trying a new type of Indian food.
Not sure of other things in this place but I’ve always been impressed by their beef samosa’s over the past two years. They always get order ready on time by the time I come to pick up and are courteous.
I ordered a chicken tikka masala and received something that tasted like nacho cheese sauce. There was a sour flavor to the curry which makes me think they added too much cream. The “naan” was a piece of pita bread. I also ordered vegetable samosas which were okay. If you want good Indian food there are plenty of other options in Irving.
