Bistango In Irvine

We just love everything about this restaurant: the food, superb wine selection, impeccable service, beautiful music, and overall ambience. Bistango is truly one of our favorite restaurants and a gem in the Newport Beach/Irvine area.

This is a must try culinary landmark in Orange County. I've been coming to this amazing restaurant since the 80s when it was opened. In short, the quality of the food ambience friendliness of the staff has consistently been amazing. The amazing quality, diverse menu has had certain signature dishes like the Leg of lamb And the soufflé dessert have the same quality they've had all these years. The management as well as the rest of the team are first class.  Keep it up ?

Has been awhile, the salad was not good, soggy. I ordered the vague beef ravioli, it looked like slop. Other guests side their meals were good. Service was ok. Could have better since their was hardly anyone at restaurant when we arrived...

I LOVE this venue and chose it to celebrate my birthday. Everything was lovely EXCEPT my bacon-wrapped shrimp. My sister makes this for an appetizer but she precooks the bacon slightly before wrapping the shrimp so the shrimp aren't cooked into brickets by the time the bacon is crispy. This chef should learn this trick, bc my shrimp were WAY over-cooked. Just sayin' We will be back bc it is a wonderful venue ordinarily. I won't order that dish again, however.

I have been coming to this restaurant over 20 years when in town from NYC. One of the classic venues in Orange County. Service is experienced and cuisine always perfect, Sea Bass, steaks, and gazpacho recommended.
