Hunan Wok - Irmo

As I moved to Colombia, I was looking up and down for this mythical treasure south, the elusive glory without which urban life is lacking. I finally found a great Chinese restaurant. Hunan Wok is wonderful. You will customize the spices on your request (I like an acid explosion in my mouth), the food is fresh and made to order, and the workers who answer the phone and ring customers on are friendly. I would say an open court, but everything, but the winners here are winners. My life is so much brighter since I discovered the wok. It may be quite a drive for me, but it never disappoints. It's always worth it. I could do it here in South Carolina...

Very good! Had a desire for roasted chicken wings and roasted rice. I ordered the 7 cut wings with smooth roasted rice. The wings were a good size, not huge. The coating was light and crispy and the chicken was super tasteful. The perfect wings. The rice was boiled, each piece was nicely separated, and the rice was well seasoned with onions that were still crispy. Overall, it fulfilled my desire and tasted exactly as I hoped. I had other dishes here to Bourbon chicken, lo mine and all were fresh and well prepared. Excellent neighborhood in Irmo for quality Chinese food. Kudos!

We love this place! They are fast, the prices are very reasonable, and the food is always amazing! You have to try the sesame chicken.

Wonderful!!! By far the best in the 29063 for take out, eat on the roof, or eat on the hood of your truck!! It's fantastic! A real diamond-in-the-rough restaurant!!

Long time standby local family owned standard Chinese takeout. Good food, good prices, and nice people. I order here at least once a week. A cut above most others in the area in terms of food quality.
