Bidra med feedbackGreat wee place in Inveraray which had some vegan options. I had a stuffed vegetable toastie with a flap jack for afters and both were tasty. Plant milks available for hot drinks too. Friendly staff.
This was my first visit to this cafe in a few years and it seems to have really upped its vegan game. There are a few options for breakfast (porridge, granola with yoghurt, full vegan breakfast) and lunch (soup of the day always vegan, smashed avo on toast, hummus and vegetable sandwich, beetroot salad). I was most impressed at how clearly labelled all the vegan options are on the menu. I would say for this part of Scotland this is an exceptional vegan offering. The smashed avo on toast with balsamic glaze was exquisite, with a great avo:bread ratio! They do a good OMFW too, with coffee roasted across the road by Campbell Coffee. The waiter I spoke to was really knowledgeable about the coffee tasting palates.
Brambles is a great place to eat! It is right on the Inveraray high street so really easy to access, the staff are all super friendly and helpful. The food was very quick to arrive and tasted amazingthere is a very nice atmosphere inside and it is a lovely place to sit in. The only negative I have is that it is often very busy around lunchtimes and sometimes it is possible you may not get a table however this is totally understandable since it is well known as a lovely place to eat! Vegan options clearly marked on menu. Daily soup is always vegan. Food was tasty and well presented. Lovely secret garden to eat in, and the dog was provided with a water bowl.
