Wonderful atmosphere, spectacular Northern Art. Best place in Inuvik to eat! Small, quaint, dining room. A good way to meet friendly people.Parking: Across the street.

I had the white fish and it was quite good but it was deep fried in a lot of batter so maybe not the best health wise.

There are not a lot of places to eat out in Inuvik, but Alestine’s really stands out! Currently open only for dinner, we suggest you arrive right when it opens—the place isn’t large and it was full within 10 minutes. Despite being short staffed, we were served delicious meals (tacos, burgers) direct from the food truck kitchen with smiles and good humour. Save room for the cheekily-named “piece of tail” dessert! Highly recommended
