COWRIE GRILL - Intramuros

I took my parents out to dinner. This is one of their favorite place and it was my first. The place gives the impression that it is a classy place. The ambiance is great and the furnishings are well appointed. What I found to be...a little unpleasant was the air-conditioning. It was too warm for my liking and my parents commented on this as well. The food was divine. Though I ordered what my parents liked, I was not disappointed. From the portions to the presentation, it was worth the money. On the staff, there 's only one name, Arthur . He was the man. He made our experience more enjoyable than expected. His customer service skill is impeccable. He did go over and beyond just to ensure we had a good experience and we appreciate that very much. Would I recommend this place? YES I would. Though this place is known to be pricey, it does reflect in the quality of not only the food but the people as well.

After bad experiences in gloria maris near to drink and dessert stopped. looked at the bar and had cognac, Irish coffee and crepes suzette. extremely friendly and attentive staff. big showmanship during the preparation of coffee and dessert made us relax and smile, uh and ah....Maybe our evening changed from frustrated to happy. we recommend this place and appreciate the professionality of their employees. a little expensive, but every peso worth.

I went here for a date and I love that they have a way of creating a sense of privacy for couples (they have these white drapes that they use to cover the table of those who are on dates, business meeting maybe, or those...who just wants privacy). This creates a good ambiance for more heart to heart conversations. Plus the food is exquisite, well of course its the Manila hotel brand after all. Would definitively recommend to everybody.

The only downer with this place is actually not directly related to this restaurant. Finding parking is horrible. And the family members ordered ahead for me. Anyway, the steak is excellent. Medium rare for me. Service is attentive and prompt. The atmosphere is nice.

superb cuisine...specially their Prime Rib, Sea Bass and Tomahawk Steak...talagang superb!!!
