The Tamale Place - Indianapolis

We came a little late in the day, so they were from several means of life. that's with us, we're planning to come back sometime sooner. we didn't try to fool them. the tacos were decent, nothing special, but not bad at all. the elote is the best restaurant elote I've ever had. will literally come back to get a big cup of it. I can't wait to try more delicious food here.

We live in Westfield, but every time I'm in the far away, I have to stop and camp! the tamales are fantastic, the schweinetacos are absolute taste bombs and their homemade chips are about the best I ever had. I wish they had a location on the north side, but as long as they keep the quality, it's worth the trip!

The tamale place is a must for fantastic tamales trying to get there early because they only make so many of every kind daily. there are probably thousand pictures of previous customer reviews, so I will skip this part this time. I had the chicken with greener sauce tamale and a sweet corn tamale, I was filled! the combo, consisting of a tamae, chips and salsa, and a drink, makes for a filling meal. they will not be disappointed!

Love tamale location. Some of the best tamälers I ever had. I come to indy 2-4x per year for racing events or measure and make it a point to stop here at least once every trip.

Place used to be so amazing. It was one of my favorite places to frequent back in the day. Just flat over priced these days. Quality has gone down hill. The staff barely interacts and when you ask if they have a new menu item... You get... I don 't like it or it 's not my favorite gave this place more money than I care to admit... But won 't be back. This place used to be authentic when they 1st opened. Not the same anymore. WAY better options in the Indy area these days.
