Bidra med feedbackI didn't think that indiana my favorite Japanese comfort eating okonomiyaki, but I found it? her sushi is high quality and service is so friendly. 10/10 would recommend mori sushi in brunnenplatz
One of the best sushi spots in indy. I've been on my lunch break a few times in mori and it never disappointed. the fish is always fresh, portion sizes are brilliant, and the prices are reasonable. the staff is polite and the place is clean. super fast waiting times too!
The sushi selection at this restaurant is very intriguing. The Volcano range is especially unique and delicious. There are a wide variety of options to choose from, so make sure to take your time and carefully look through the menu.
We had a lovely and affordable date night at this restaurant. The location in Fountain Square was easily accessible. The quality of sushi in relation to the cost was unbeatable. We tried several rolls along with wine or beer and did not spend as much as we would have at other local restaurants. Our server was quite busy but still did a good job and we did not have to wait too long. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a family-friendly atmosphere or a casual date night. It may not be as fancy as a fine dining establishment, so if money is not a concern, I would suggest going to 1933 or St. Elmo instead. It is important not to compare this restaurant to those higher-end options.
The competition for the best sushi spots in downtown Indianapolis may not be strong, but Mori does a commendable job with both traditional and inventive dishes. The edomae maki and nigiri featuring popular choices like tuna, hamachi, and salmon are well done. However, some less common items had questionable cut or garnish choices, such as too much skin on the madai and spicy mayo scallion on white fish nigiri. The specialty rolls were enjoyable with creative concepts, but the yakisoba was overly sauced and lacked the smoky flavor expected from a hot wok. Despite some misses, we have returned to Mori and will likely continue to visit when the sushi craving hits between trips out of town.
