Bidra med feedbackCame here with friends and family and ordered 3 chicken sandwiches and one thigh and leg. Everything tasted excellent. The thigh and leg came out a bit late, but our server was very thoughtful and offered a complimentary dessert. Would recommend!Food: 5/5
The customer service is atrocious. Who ever is working the driver through is always rude and does not annunciate. My order has yet to come out correct. I order things as is and keep it basic. There is a general lack of understanding for the menu. On one occasion for example; Menu offers crispy or grilled chicken and when i asked for crispy tenders. They had no idea what i was talking about. Spent 3 minutes trying to explain crispy chicken. I have only been 4 times. Trying to see if its a pattern or one of. Every time it has been frustrating
Yesterday was my 2nd time trying Joellas and I am not very impressed. The chicken is not good quality to be a chicken restaurant. The fried chicken sandwich had a lot of gristle and fatty pieces, so half of my sandwich I picked the chicken scraps off. I noticed some light pink color in the center of my sandwich also. Extremely greasy and soggy bun. The greens and mac are good, but very small portions for the price. I had a door dash delivered so I can handle the greasy bun due to delivery and it sitting in a to go container, but the chicken quality was very poor. Not worth the price.
Came here for a very late weekend lunch ~2PM) and there was no line whatsoever at Joella's. We just got a single sandwich to share since we weren't that hungry:Pimento Sammie, Ellas Fav w/ Parm Garlic Fries $11.50) The chicken was fried nicely, with a good crisp and a juicy interior. Ella's fav was more sweet than spicy, basically barely spicy I would definitely get spicier next time. I found that there was way too much salt in the batter/breading. On certain portions of the breading, there was so much salt that I felt like it was burning my tongue. On top of the chicken, the pimento cheese was surprisingly good for the Midwest. Good slightly sweet pimiento flavor and fresh cheddar. The pickles added a good zing and it was all on a nice buttered bunParm Garlic Fries Upgrade $0.75) These had a nice parmesan, garlic and oregano flavor. They were kind of oily but they had a very good crisp. The salt levels could use some adjustments, but Joella's serves up some pretty good chicken and fries.
A gratuity (often called a tip) is a sum of money customarily given by a customer to certain service sector workers such as hospitality for the service they have performed, in addition to the basic price of the service this isn't performed in the drive thru so stop asking for one. Pay your employees more it looks bad on your company.
