Great food and friendly service, highly recommended.

Stopped by to pick up some sides for dinner at Turnagain Arm Pit tonight, fried pickles and okra, some slaw, cornbread and Mac cheese. The food here has always been great, if you like barbecue you’ll love what they have to offer. Their sweet tea makes your teeth hurt in the best way. They are offering pick up (either call ahead or drop in ordering) and they also have a handful of tables set up on their deck. The view of the Arm is spectacular from there, so if you are lucky enough to get a table it will be a great treat. I had a nice chat with Jennifer while I was waiting, she’s worked at the restaurant for nearly 7 years now. Covid has been hard on our restaurants, especially those that are a bit out of the way and generally catering to tourists as well as locals. Consider making a drive down to help support them, even if you don’t get a table...one thing the Seward Highway is not short on are perfect spots to picnic!

Good service, but grill was ok, but not all that great. They ran out of their speciality of pulled pork tacos. sauce was like that. the atmosphere was a diner.

Drool worthy of the minute they go and smell. clean, friendly, delicious, stunning view, beautiful to the children, fantastic menu, authentic grill and quality ingredients, rustic decor, alaskan. a must go for Turnagain arm... worthy the drive!
