Jimmy John's - Independence

I had a decent experience at this place until today. I've made my order in the drive thru and told by the woman in the window that it will be a minute because they have only one buck or online order. what I had to wait about ten minutes and that was cool, but that wasn't the case. so they make the line of people waiting in the car ride. I'm there for 30 minutes, she tells me to move and she's gonna get that food out. we wait longer, quiet, no eating. So my man goes in and wanted to get a refund, but then they say that his order was ready and sits on the table for a minute. we get the food in the car, the order was wrong, so I took it back for a full refund. the woman who took the order simply turned around and went away while the person who made the refund did not apologize. there were at least 5 people on the staff, so I waited half an hour for two sandwiches that were wrong, making absolutely no sense. and why would they let people wait in the car while they fill online orders, especially with the price of gas? it made absolutely no sense and I will not go back after I have dealt with this level of incompetence.

The worker was super unfriendly today. I have always been a fan of JJ but now I'm reevaluating my loyalty. $31 for two sandwiches but I'm getting half of the sandwich I would get from their competitors. Why do they carve out some of the bread? To make it even smaller? Why in the world would a $15 turkey sub not come with cheese? Was going to cost $2.38 to add cheese. Lol. I'd recommend going to goodcents a few doors down instead.

Freaky fast freaky good? well still sitting in the drive thru line. Been here for 17 minutes. Took 10 minutes to even order. More like slow AF and moderately good. Update: Took over 30 minutes to actually get my one sandwich.

Freaky Fast? Try abysmally slow. I ordered 3 sandwiches an hour ago. 30 minutes later I get a notification my order is out for delivery. So far, I'm good. I live literally 1 mile from the shop. It's been 30 minutes. Still waiting. I called the shop 10 minutes ago and was told the driver had 3 orher deliveries and that it would be here soon. If you can't follow through then call me and say we are unable to deliver you food in a reasonable amount of time. I'd be irritated but would respect them owning the situation. Instead I'm standing at my door...waiting for food and typing up a bad review. Not that it will matter to anyone at the shop.
