Coffee Shop Independence Center Mall

The best coffee place in independence, nicest people, great coffee, and great place to be ?

Sooo good. The white mocha iced coffee is so smooth.

This location states it closes at 7pm on here. I drove to the mall and went in and there was a sign on the door stating ‘due to staffing issues the store would be closing at 5) mind you it was 4:40 at this point, the door was locked and the employee shook her head no at me. I called and asked why they weren’t open and the girl said her manager told her to close if there wasn’t any foot traffic..umm hello most people work until at least 4 or 5. I called the corporate office and they told me there were multiple employee on medical leave. That really has nothing to do with the customers and they might as well just close the whole location down. I will be taking my business elsewhere where they keep their doors open and don’t make excuses for the reasons they aren’t open.

In response to the last review, I would like to add some positivity. I have been a patron of this specific location for 20 years. I have always received the best of service and the coffee is devine! The staff always are helpful and kind and work as quickly as possible even with a line out of the door. Kindness and compassion go a long way and some would do well to remember that.

We went to the location in Independence center and we had a “Free small beverage” and they said they didn’t have a Q-R scanner and couldn’t give me the drink. They guy didn’t even try. He just kept giving me the total.
