The brasserie, located in the pedestrian area of Idar, has existed for many years. Breakfast, lunch table, coffee cake and dinner. There's no starving. In summer you can sit outside the brasserie. We were served very friendly and attentive this evening. It's not always like that. The dishes were warm and served for 4 people at the same time. There's a floor kitchen here. A lot (scarving, sauces... is prefabricated and not homemade. The menu certainly offers something for every taste and is balanced. The selection of salad plates is very nice. When assessing food, you should stay fair: Here a brasserie is rated with reasonable prices and no gourmet restaurant. At noon table it should go fast. Despite the many years and carnival parties, furnishings, tables chairs are still very well maintained and despite the size prevails a pleasant atmosphere due to the pleasant division. All right. The food is alright, not the best but could be worse. Price is a bit too high for the quality. Staff is partly unfriendly. All in all a alright place for some lunch but there are better ones.

Good menu, great serving size, and breakfast until noon. Note that the London breakfast is NOT a typical British breakfast. Their version is scrambled eggs with red beans and ham in it.

I travel all over for work and have been to several German towns over the years. This place has the best schnitzel without a doubt. Whenever I have the chance to come to stay here I always know where I'm going to eat for every...meal of the day.
