Oscar Moon's Milkshake - Huntsville

These milkshakes are fantastic! The service was excellent; they provided a thorough explanation and answered all our questions about the shakes on the menu. That day, we chose the Alabama Peach Pie and Strawberry milkshakes. We also tried Cheer Wine and Huckleberry soda, which were delightful! I can’t wait to return and sample more items from the menu!

Oscar Moon's milkshakes are absolutely divine! Every time I visit, I try a different flavor, and I’ve been consistently impressed! Kailani and her team are incredibly friendly and provide outstanding customer service. So far, I’ve sampled the Alabama Peach Pie (11/10), Scout's Mint (10/10), and Cookies and Cocoa (10/10). If you're in search of variety, this place has it all!

It is always a pleasure returning here. Today, I have ordered the Alabama Peach Pie. It is very smooth and has a natural taste. It is not overly sugar. Also, they are very friendly in this ice cream shop. Just look at how busy they are and you will see why they are a success. I will be saddened when I move west. I will have to find another place comparable to this location in Huntsville.

I ordered the Horse Jackery milkshake, which I usually love, but for some reason, it was very gritty today. It tasted like sugar crystals that hadn’t been fully mixed into the ice cream, and when I picked it out of my mouth, it was brown like cocoa. I couldn't quite figure out what it was, but it made my milkshake feel chewy and odd. I ended up throwing half of it away. I've always enjoyed the Horse Jackery before, so this was quite disappointing. It's been about three months since my last visit, and it seems that things have really changed for the worse.

This is a lovely spot to enjoy a sweet treat after dinner. The bar is stunning, but I wish there was a designated area for servers to place orders without having to reach over or around people seated there. A little organization would go a long way, given the high traffic in the area. Overall, the desserts are quite delicious, and I definitely recommend giving them a try!
