Oscar Moon's Milkshake - Huntsville

It is always a pleasure returning here. Today, I have ordered the Alabama Peach Pie. It is very smooth and has a natural taste. It is not overly sugar. Also, they are very friendly in this ice cream shop. Just look at how busy they are and you will see why they are a success. I will be saddened when I move west. I will have to find another place comparable to this location in Huntsville.

Cute little ice cream parlor. Staff was very friendly, and the ice cream/shake selections were amazing. Staff was very friendly and prompt. We really enjoyed our Sundays and shakes!

A sparkling marquee menu, old fashioned soda bar, and smiling servers catch your eye as you enter this eclectic milkshake shop on the corner of Stovehouse. They had a LARGE variety of gourmet shakes ranging from traditional classics to unique flavors. The atmosphere was super unique, with antique ice cream scoops, funky mannequins, and records on display. There was even a disco ball on the ceiling. The cashier and server were both so friendly and patient as we placed our after dinner orders. Then, we sat upon the sparkling, spinning counter stools and watched, as our creamy desserts were made from scratch! Upon being given one of the thicken straws I've seen in my entire life, the shakes were surprisingly not thick. The flavor was good, the whip cream was divine, and the toppings were pretty; however, the consistency was off. Great reviews mediocre milkshakes.

We stopped by here after our meal nearby. We ordered the Bourbon Chocolate Pecan Pie shake and it was good! Price was a little steep for a milkshake but it is in Huntsville. Definitely worth stopping by for a treat every now and then!
