Doubledave's Pizzaworks - Huntsville

It was fantastic! They sponsored a pizza party for my human sexuality course, and there was plenty for everyone. The pizza tasted amazing!

Double Dave’s generously donated 13 large pizzas to feed a class of veterans, students, and student-veterans at SHSU. We offered to pay full price due to their support of Wounded Warrior Project, but the owner, Kat, insisted on giving them to us for free. It was an incredibly generous gesture. The pizza was chewy, cheesy, and seasoned to perfection, with portion sizes being just right. Eleven pizzas fed over 35 people! We are immensely grateful to Kat and the team at Double Dave’s for their kindness. They even opened their doors early to prepare the pizzas for us.

Although the buffet is currently unavailable, their pizzas are fantastic. On Thursdays, they offer a large specialty pizza for $15.99. While this might be pricier than what you'd find at a national chain, the quality is far superior to anything from Domino's or Pizza Hut. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. There was a mistake with my order, but the manager quickly resolved it to my satisfaction. I also ordered a Stromboli to go, and the Philly flavor is always a favorite of mine.

Slow service to order. Couldn 't figure out how to order just a pepperoni pizza on national pepperoni pizza day . I mean I get those days are all made up, but wow. Also... pizza rolls were better than the pizza. Not horrible or bad...just pretty meh.

My daughter and I stopped off for lunch this past Sunday and was not disappointed. Pizza and appertizer were very good. Very friendly service. Will be going back on our next visit.
