Buttercooky Bakery Cafe - Huntington

I typically avoid writing negative reviews, but I feel the need to share my experience this time. I ordered a 1/2 sheet cake for my son's first birthday. I had a conversation over the phone with an employee about the design and even sent pictures of the theme I wanted. We reached an agreement on the details. However, when the cake was delivered, I was disappointed to find that the writing did not match what we had discussed (I wanted "Happy 1st Birthday," but the "1st" was missing). Additionally, the writing was all crammed on one side of the cake.

I have been a fan of this bakery for many years. I have purchased from them numerous times and I can confidently say that they are the best. Their selections are all high quality and I highly recommend this place. The cakes are reasonably priced, but they do tend to get busy, so I suggest placing your order early, especially for special requests.

My niece's baptism cake was a disaster at this restaurant. The staff couldn't find it and kept asking me for details while searching. They even spelled her name wrong and when I asked them to correct it, they merely removed the pink icing, leaving the indentation of the missing letter visible. They claimed fixing it further would make it worse. To make matters worse, when we cut into the cake at the party, we discovered it was missing one of the two fillings it was supposed to have. Extremely disappointing experience overall.

I like the bakery but they ruined someone special event. The employees need to understand the ?right size box? concept. Unbelievable! Who does this?

I had the worst experience here and its very sad because I have been coming here since they opened ????. I ordered a tres leche cake here and it was not done when I picked it up. I was told it could be done in 20 minutes 1 hr after waiting I finally got it. The cake was a disaster it fell apart as soon as I cut it.
