Bidra med feedbackWalked in around 5pm. Noone at the front counter, waited a minute or two. All 3 workers at the time were in the back on their phones, had to call out twice to get their attention. They looked spooked when I called out to them lol. Sandwich was fine, Igot Tuna. They had to take my bread portion to the back out of view to put the tuna in the bread, kinda weird. Probably won'tcome back to this location but other Jersey Mike's have been good. Only reason it's not a 1 star is that the sandwich wasntthat bad.
I always order mike's way #13(ish). I frequently order the sandwich without provolone, cappacuolo or ham. I like to add pickles and extra spices. The young staff are pleasant and quick to make it right for the customer.
The employee at the counter welcomed me, and I asked for help deciding between two sandwiches. He mentioned that neither was particularly popular, but since I needed a meatless and cheese-less option, he said those were my choices. I opted for the veggie sandwich. After that, he directly moved on to assist the customer behind me. I didn’t mind waiting, as I wasn’t in a rush and figured he was multitasking. Once he finished preparing the next customer’s meat order, I politely asked if he would change his gloves, which he did without issue. However, I soon noticed that he had cut cheese for my sandwich. I clarified that I didn’t want cheese, and he promptly removed it. I made sure to specify three times that I wanted all the veggies, including all the peppers, but he still left out the red pepper relish. He did help me add avocado and mushrooms, but he seemed a bit annoyed when I preferred not to have the mushrooms grilled. Another employee then started assisting me. I kindly requested that she put some of the pepper relish on the side, and she smiled, agreed, told me my total, handed me my sandwich, and then walked to the back of the restaurant. I stood there waiting for her to return, but she never did. Now, I'm sitting in the parking lot feeling confused about what went wrong. Overall, the sub tasted fine, but I felt like I was inconveniencing the employees by asking for modifications. I would have loved to try the cherry pepper relish since I enjoy spicy foods. Unfortunately, due to the service, I don't think I'll be returning to this location.
I used to visit this location regularly until today. I ordered my sub, which was supposed to be ready by 12:29. As I sit here, I can’t help but notice that the employees are prioritizing making sandwiches for diners rather than the takeout orders. Now it's 12:39, and I'm still waiting. It's quite frustrating.
THE STAFF CHOSE TO CLOSE EARLY. This location has decided to close at 8 PM, an hour earlier than their stated closing time of 9 PM. They won’t inform you of this; instead, they will simply answer the phone without saying anything until you eventually hang up, or allow the phone to ring until it goes to voicemail.
