Bidra med feedbackTwo adult and a 4 year old, Sunday dinner, 3 choices of the pornstar, what is all they have for s sonday roast, good homemade food, yorkshires are defo homemade, they can not get them like the bought rib of bark and roast pork tasty and children's roast all have been eaten, whispering there was a choice, and the tarte did. ikea wand. that is a pub that is traditional. do not expect cocktails.
We have just returned from a large Sunday roast that we had not booked, but the renter was very committed and managed to fit us. the meal was delicious and service good. there was a good lively atmosphere of the locals in the bar. I would recommend. as a place to get a roast.
We booked here mainly on Sundays because it was the pub in the village where my father spent some of his childhood, so it was more for nostalgia. we were not disappointed in lunch. the flesh was plentiful and the bark was. so delicate, the yorkies homemade and the sweetness was all fresh (not a frozen baptism in itself! . the puddings were also decent size shares....no one of their designer things! all in all a beautiful lunch in a rustic village pub with beautiful staff also.
Had heard good dings over Sunday roasts, but was served, dried veg and bratkartoffeln and what seemed a reheated frozen yorkshire. very disappointed
Regular readers will know that we very much like this place. We booked a table for Sunday Lunch today to coincide with our 35th Wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed! Bill's legendary roast really hit the spot and the atmosphere and banter in the...pub was brilliant! Really nice to see jovial Malcolm behind the bar. Roll on the next visit!
