Miss Huntingdon

We went to Miss Huntingdon for lunch, we ordered a hamburger and a poutine. I worked this day and had 1 hour and half for my lunch break. There weren't so many people in the restaurant and a poutine... and a hamburger usually didn't take so long, but it took 45 minutes to get our food. The food wasn't very good either. The poutine was a few pommes with sauce and grated cheese and the hamburger was cold. Not only that, but the restaurant is in desperate need of refurbishment. I just have to say that the waitress was very nice. I wouldn't eat there again.

Have been there a few times and I think they could take the time to wash the window and the floors once in a while. The owners girlfriend is the waitress and she is horrible with no manners nor class. Once I saw the restaurant I just had a coffee as I was afraid the kitchen was as dirty as the rest of the restaurant. If you want a good meal in a CLEAN restaurant go anywhere in Huntingdon. PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

We visited on a very quiet snowy December 29th when many folks were on vacation. We originally wanted to go to Leblanc Patates but it seemed closed – perhaps just for the winter. The Miss Huntingdon restaurant is located on the main strip of Huntingdon and is surrounded by many business that have closed... a somewhat depressing sight.The decor, as mentioned by at least one other reviewer, desperately needs to be updated - at the very least the chairs and tables which give it an office cafeteria (from the '70s) look that is not charming nor inviting. We were there for a late lunch during the afternoon and there were perhaps 1/2 a dozen other clients, mainly having coffee.We ordered the poutine (both regular and Italian), a club sandwich, and cheeseburger with bacon.The poutine were considered quite average, or under average, lacking the requisite cheese curds and using grated cheese. The sauces, both in the traditional and Italian poutine, were lacking in character and could have used a bit more spice to them.The cheeseburgers with bacon were, however, quite tasty, properly cooked and garnished with fresh toppings. The club sandwich was equally reasonable / good. The fries were so-so, home fries would have made a big difference, these ones tasted a bit too much of the frozen variety.Service was very good and friendly. Prices are quite reasonable and portions are more than generous.The pizza is probably the best bet here, although for a quick meal the burgers are OK as well.

Very good food, friendly people, don't know what the person above is writing about. served in a timely matter, would recomend to anyone.
