Bidra med feedbackAt one point, the young woman had to deal with a problem in the kitchen and switched roles with the young man, who then continued making our last two sandwiches. She struggled to put on her gloves, going through three pairs before she finally succeeded. During this time, we repeated our sandwich orders to her several times. While she was occupied, the young man managed the kitchen issue and even found time to take out the trash. When he returned, he simply stood there watching the customers while she continued fumbling with her gloves. When she finally finished our last sandwich, she burned her hand, which delayed us for another five minutes as they compared their injuries. Despite my efforts to stay calm and remind myself they were just kids, it was quite frustrating. At one point, another couple walked up to the counter but left after seeing how long the wait was. Eventually, an older woman came in, and the young man quickly made her sandwich while the young woman struggled to stuff four footlong sandwiches into one bag, failing to open it. My son wanted to order a pizza, but they were out of it, so he opted for a pretzel instead. She had to go retrieve it from the back and handed it over without any wrapper or napkins, leaving us to wrap it ourselves while my card remained in the chip reader. To make matters worse, she rushed us so she could ring up the older woman behind us while we were still trying to finish our orders. I don’t think I will return to that Subway unless a manager is present. It was obvious that these two were not ready to work without supervision.
I worked at this restaurant for four days and ultimately felt the need to quit! The staff was disrespectful and exhibited racist behavior. Furthermore, they do not compensate for overtime work.
The service was prompt and staff were friendly.
