Korner Slice - Humble

I typically stick to big chain restaurants because they're more budget-friendly and tasty, but this is one of my favorite local pizza spots! As a vegetarian, I really appreciate that they have plenty of options available, including their pasta and lasagna, which still allow me to enjoy them since the meat is in the sauce. Everything here is incredibly delicious, and I highly recommend it—plus, it's very affordable!

My husband and I were looking forward to trying out a new pizza restaurant. The delivery was prompt, and our orders were accurate. We both chose personal pizzas but only managed to eat two slices each. I sensed that something tasted off, and my husband came in from another room to say he felt the same way. Later that evening, we both became ill, which lasted for two days for my husband, who also developed a fever, while I was fortunately only unwell for one day.

They've been making strides towards regaining a 5-star rating, but time and future experiences will ultimately determine that. I had a great experience until March 14th. Unfortunately, there was an error with my order quantities. When I arrived at the store, I discovered I was being charged for more pizzas than I had actually ordered. The manager was insistent that I pay for everything, including the extra pizzas I did not request. He maintained an attitude and a smirk while I tried to explain the mistake. If my order had been confirmed back to me, this issue could have been avoided. The pizza is delicious, but I really hope I don’t have to deal with the manager again.

Just received my food and I?m very disappointed. One pound of wings where? My fettuccine with pesto sauce is soooo dry and bland. Paid $1.40 to add mushrooms I?ve seen 2 small ones. I?m at a hotel visiting Houston so I don?t even have anything I can doctor it up with to make it better. Guess I?ll just eat the cheese sticks they were good.

Probably some of the best pizza in Humble and definitely a better option than the pizza chains. The pizzas are a good size, the crust has a good bite, the sauce is tasty, and they do a good layering of toppings. I had the Korner's express and it was delicious. The boneless buffalo wings are also a really good option, the 1lb portion gives you a lot of wings and they are not little pieces by any means. The left over slices were still good the next day, both cold and microwaved. The only problem I had, and I don't think this is enough to take out a star, but when ordering through their website the confirmation email does not provide an estimated pick up time and you do not receive an email when the order is ready to be picked up. I had to call the store to ask if the order was ready. Not a big deal just something that could be improved on. The ordering experience might be different using door dash or Uber eats.
