The Greek Princes Avenue - Hull

The first time we have visited The Greek and what a fabulous experience that was. Staff welcome and attentive during our time at the restaurant. Food is amazing, both taste and presentation. Generous portions and cheap. Will be back soon. Very recommended.

Now came into her to see how it was with the woman yesterday at 4 a.m. (Friday), so it was calm. Babies? Or Harry, I think he called himself, the manager, bigger us with a warm welcome to the cozy and spacious restaurant. Inside is beautiful, decorated with flowers and plants that give a warm interior. There is a remote stand for larger groups, we sat down from a radiator as it was cold. I ordered a myth beer and a woman had a nice lemon drink Loux, I think. Not sour or sharp or sweet or tasting of saccharin. So, food wise, we ordered Calamari, tirokafteri, spanakopita, dollars and olive oil bread this day made. I have to say that the food was so fresh and the hot appetizers just that. The manager made a quick checkback, not in our face or hang around, but polite and brought extra lemon wedges. The food was full of taste, nicely cooked and not hard on the chili in the dish with them. We took our time then had a pig and chicken gyros (no photos of these as huge and tbh the best I had). The chips coated with thyme/salt were excellent. Nothing was fat or overloaded in the oil. All the food plus 2 beer and a softie for 42 quid, money we spend in this Greek family business restaurant. You're taking over, too. Toilets were impeccable. Fantastic and worth a visit. I would suggest booking as there are no number of tables. We'll be back. It was great.

We shared a large mixed grill sharing plate, which was certainly plentiful for two, with a tribal dish of halloumi Fries. Fast friendly service. We had a booking and I doubt you would be able to go in the street on Saturday night as it is a popular place. I enjoyed a dark beer with my meal comparable to a European dark style. Overall: highly recommended food in a very popular location.

Nice food since we left, we also had a take away that was amazing.

Delicious, fresh Greek food combined with a fantastic service! Highly recommend the Mixed Grill board for two, which actually has a lot more than we expected. The 2 Greek desserts were also amazing.
