El Jimador Mexican Grill And - Huffman

The service was average. The meat appeared and tasted overcooked and old, even though I asked for it rare. It seemed like they were trying to hide the fact that the meat was not fresh. One of the employees attempted to take a sneaky photo, but their phone flashed and I noticed. They seemed to be trying to hide it afterward. I felt overwhelmed and just wanted to leave. The bill for one adult meal and two children's plates came to $60. Overall, I felt uncomfortable after the incident with the employee taking a photo.

My husband and I have passed by this restaurant several times since we moved to Huffman. His sister came from Florida to visit for his birthday, as she does every year. She decided to have lunch here a few days after his birthday. I asked my husband for his thoughts, and here they are. The food was just okay (he had a hun burrito), and there was nothing impressive about the atmosphere (the floor was sticky). His sister agreed, but unfortunately had a bad fall later that night. I am giving El Jimador 4 stars based on his experience, as I have seen many customers here. Personally, I prefer La Villa.

I had a bad experience at this restaurant. It was terrible. The menudo I ordered was so salty and the tacos meat was burned. The tortillas tasted expired. In my opinion, this is the worst restaurant I have ever eaten at.

El Jimador is one of the best Mexican restaurants in the area. Friendly fast service and no matter how busy they seem there is always a table available and the food comes out perfectly prepared and very timely. El Jimador has become a regular once a week stop for some of the best food around. If you haven't checked them out yet you are definitely missing out. Thank you for all you do.
