We had tried most bbq when we went to Chesterland site last year and we were not impressed. I have to say that it was much better. Since this location is only a mile away from home, we have often visited it. We try to eat our way through the menu. The burgers are very good. The Chorizo Fleischtau was okay. The grouper was great, the catfish was a bit over cooked, but tasty. The first time we had the burned ends appetizer, they swim in bbq sauce. A little of her bbq is good, much is too much. It can exaggerate food. Tonight the burnt ends were great. Coated with bbq, but not bbq burned end soup. We've always eaten in or at the bar. We like this atmosphere. We always had very good services there. Wonderful selection of Bourbons. The prices for some are not from the game. $10.50 for Jefferson's Ocean $75 for bottle in the liqueur shop) super, $40.00 for W.L. Weller 12 year $30 for bottle if you can find it) is simply ridiculous. I understand supply and demand, but! A newly opened restaurant can be difficult to get consistent food and service. Every time we go back, it gets better. There are many other great meals.
I have the 3 course bbq, ribs, chest, pig. The most amazing bbq ever had. Nice smokey taste, not transferred. Also the southwest shells for a starter. Sauce was from this world. Give the service a 4/5, new location, still learning, but very good otherwise.. highly recommend oak and embers. Customers for life!!!
Food, service and atmosphere were on site. Well worth the ride to Hudson from Green and will definitely make the trip again. You can get a DD or plan on Uber drive home, the signature drink menu is one of the best around. The smoked meats are so good that you do not even need sauce, but do not give up, either made from these in house delicacies.
The food was delicious and very good, especially for what you get. I highly recommend stopping it and trying it if you have never eaten here. The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly as well as the staff. The staff is not only friendly but also attentive. The experience was fantastic overall and I see that we'll be back soon.
The food was amazing. My husband had the Brisket Melt, he said, “This is one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had.” I had a “special” offering for The Taste of Hudson pulled pork cake. I’d had it the day before went back again, I enjoyed it so much. I hope it is added to the menu. Our service was first rate
