Shan Hu Chinese Restaurant - Houston

I took a chance on this did delivery but it was definitely worth it. I ordered the hot pepper chicken with steam rice and 2 egg rolls. Now the egg rolls were good but they were way too soft should've been fried more. Over all I have to say this place exceeded my expectations, especially the fact it took the time given but was still really hot ; temp wise. Thank you guys!

I am SO pleasantly surprised by Shan Hu!! a coworker had suggested chinese for lunch so i looked through the best reviewed on uber eats and ended up here. when i saw jajangmyeon on the menu i couldn?t believe it!! for $9.99 i got this huge container of noodles and sauce, the kimchi is good, not fermented very long it seems so it?s not as tangy as i?d like but it was still a nice crisp freshness to compliment the noodles! everyone?s food came organized properly as well. very much recommend for a wide variety of asian cuisines! my coworker got pad thai and another ordered kung pao chicken. thanks for a great meal!!!

This place has been one of my favorites for years! Always amazing... always great service.

Food was great, pork a little overdone, but the vegetables had distinct flavor(many Chinese restaurants' veggies don't carry much flavor themselves other than cardboard or the sauce they're drenched in). Id recommend a combo. The hot and sour soup was superb, the wood ear mushrooms were exceptional. Ya I know they're just wood ears but I'd love to have their supply. Most places don't have the quality. Hope its consistent!

Pretty good food for the price and friendly servers. The dumplings were tasty. So was the crispy duck, even though it was a bit dry. Overall it was a nice meal.
