Peli Peli - Vintage Park - Houston

This has been one of my favorite restaurants for years and still is. However, it seems to be loosing its edge. The service isn't as crisp as it once was and the facility is starting to show wear and tear, including a lot of burned out light bulbs. As for the food, it is still very good.

The bartender started the evening off excellent with the cucumber martini and the waiter Josh really set the tone for the evening with a couple of great recommendations on the wine and apps! Overall the food wasnt quite as good overall as the last time I was there but the service was some of the best I've ever had!

Really enjoyed the experience. The food was incredible. The servers are very knowledgeable and more than happy to answer any questions you may have. I would definitely recommend it for a special occasion.

I am loyal to Peli Peli and it never disappoints! That is what keeps me coming back. Brandon our waiter was so great. Excellent customer service skills, knowledgeable about the menu and he has very attentive to our needs regardless of the language barrier from my guests. He was very culturally sensitive and made sure our food was made to it's best. Thank you Brandon for making my mother's birthday brunch such a wonderful experience!

Valentines date with my wife. We really didn’t know what to expect. Never have we tried South African food before. It started out a little shaky for us at the bar while waiting to be seated. The bartender seemed like he was ignoring us. We had to actually stop a manager to order our drinks for the bartender to make them. I feel if we hadn’t done that he would have served other people that came after us. Once we were seated our waitress Chase was super nice and informative. You can say she saved the night for us. She gave recommendations at our request and really broke down the menu to us. The food was amazing. Far better that what I was expecting. We will definitely be back.
