House of Pies - Houston

Went for early lunch. Dinner style food, good service.

This is my 2nd POST ABOUT H.O.P.... and I leave again MUCH MORE IMPRESSED. I asked could the lady that waited on me last time wait on us again? The hostess Kim, was very HELPFUL and knew who I was referring to. (Waitress name was Dee) She greeted us with a PROFESSIONAL smile and greeting. Her attention and memory of what is being ordered, IS AMAZING. ALL OF US WERE AMAZED. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! Every time I'm here in Houston I will come here before I go back home. (I eat there during dinner hours). Great SERVICE. GREAT FOOD. EASY 5 STARS.

Excellent food and great service. We come here every time we want pie. The coffee's great too. I had the German chocolate cream pie and she had the chocolate cake with ice cream on top and a strawberry shake to boot. It was all fantastic and the coffee's going to give us just enough caffeine to make it home on one drive.

Never forget that you came for pie. All other food is secondary. Lots of weird conversations and Qonspiracy talk. Don’t engage. Remember… you came for pie.

Recently updated menu, meaning higher prices for everything. Whatever you get stay away from their grill pork chops. It's breaded, dry, tough and tasteless.
