Gyu Kaku Houston, Tx Midtown

I absolutely love Gyu Kaku! As usual, the service was quick, and everything was fresh and delicious. Our grill was ready, and the servers were there to assist us. The Kalbi Lining Rib Umakara Beef is always our favorite, especially paired with beef Bibimbap instead of plain rice.

Initially, they wouldn't seat us until our entire party had arrived, which was frustrating since one person was running late. I really dislike that policy! The staff seemed disinterested and would bring out multiple plates at once without any explanation, leaving us confused about which dish belonged to whom and how long it needed to be cooked. Whenever we sought clarification, they seemed unhelpful. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and I won't be returning.

I had a wonderful time celebrating my birthday! I never felt rushed or overwhelmed. Savannah was incredibly kind, and I loved the surprise they had for me at the end. Overall, I would definitely return for a casual meal.

Can’t wait to come back. Some of the best red meats and rice and vegetable dishes, made right in front of you.

Staff recognized my daughter’s 30th birthday and may the evening so special. Service was outstanding and is always the food was amazing.
