Cafe Poetes - Houston

This charming cafe is reminiscent of my travels to Europe! The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, making it a beautiful spot to visit.

The restaurant manager remembered my specific requests from my OpenTable booking, personally served us, and made our experience very enjoyable. The owner of the restaurant also stopped by to have a friendly chat with us and shared the story of how his wife started the restaurant. He mentioned their plans to open a second floor and turn it into a greenhouse. I am excited to have afternoon tea in the greenhouse next year. Cafe Poetes is a hidden gem!

We went there for the first time today. as franzosen I am in the really super picky about these French places that appear in whole houston. this is really great! the menu is creatiw and really seductive, we tried two tartines (prosciutto and avocado) and they were both delicious. quite large proportions, so the price-quantity ratio is also good. we tried the braut quiche and that was especially because she reminded me of the taste of the home dish. the decoration of the place is a bit too French for me hahaha, but it is pleasant and my American friend loved it. the service must also be mentioned: both waiter and the couple who own the place were very attentive and spent time at all tables to ensure that everyone was satisfied. excellent service that reminds me of the French hospitality and the attention to details. TL;DR: cooler place, good food, go there.

What an experience! a small group went for a high tee service and was very impressed. the room is welcoming and cozy, while the staff and the owners were very friendly and in detail explained all the numerous objects we were to pamper. it is an expensive experience, but they will certainly get what they pay, I definitely recommend when they are looking for something from the ordinary to do and feel as they are strung outside of htx, also for a few hours. make sure and reserve in advance they also offer dinner service, looking forward to try soon.

Finally, houston has a French caffe that offers delicious dishes with style! beautiful in the inner and very attentive staff takes care of them all the time. I loved her croissant, quiche and lavender pistazio choux was heavenly! a must try!
