Special Events Dining At Omni Homestead

We went in april to one with the sassaia weinbauer who was fabulous. which was top notch, it was held in the tower conference room, which is a smaller, intimate space than the crystal ballroom. the youngest we went with stinson weingut and another virginia weingut was not almost as good. the weeping were best in order and in the bigger one felt a bit separated. it was very difficult to hear and understand what the editors said and the intimate feeling was lost. the food was delicious!

The special event was offered by a local bbq place. they also had live music. eating was excellent and the event was much fun.

After waiting for 20 minutes, I had to get up from the table to ask for a drink. the claws were frozen, the food was cold, the coffee was cold. overall terrible experience and will never dinate here again

This is our second time dining at the Homestead for Christmas. From last year, we were hoping to make a tradition out of it, but after yesterday, we will not be returning. I understand Covid changes a lot of things, but 10 dinner items to choose from was ridiculous for a 65 dollar meal. That’s what we paid last year and there was a huge difference in what was being offered. Our server barely spoke and was pushy about us paying. She also asked for our pin instead of running credit. She took away my beverage before it was empty, but did make up for it by bringing a new one. She was nice, but didn’t seem like she knew what she was doing at all. The soup and the ham were cold. Very disappointed for a $400 meal.

Wonderful food and spectacular venue! We enjoyed Christmas at the Homestead.
