Very good service and circumvent with the kovid threatening very well. eating was an excellent choice and good vegetarian options. are large and well presented. as an additional bonus they had adams ghost ship on tap. will definitely visit again.

What a great find if you are in the area look this place up .Lovely country pub with real ale available if that's your tipple .The menu had plenty of choice and a good selection of gluten free options and vegetarian options .Staff were friendly and helpful .

Came up on Google as a recommended place as it was similar to other pubs we've been to. We stopped in on the off-chance for Sunday lunch and we were not disappointed. We hadn't booked but we were made to feel extremely welcome. The lunch menu was quite simple, but had something for everyone and the quality of food was fantastic. Add to this some top quality beer, friendly staff and a warm cozy atmosphere what's not to like? Go to the Durham Ox, you won't be disappointed

The service was exceptional! I’ve dined at places ranging from fast-food joints to Michelin-star restaurants, but this was truly delicious. We had a Sunday dinner, and I can honestly say it featured the best bratkartoffeln I’ve ever tasted, along with excellent vegetables. What really impressed me was how quickly our drink orders came in—everyone at our table of seven had their drinks in less than a minute! Amazing. I was thoroughly impressed.
