Bidra med feedbackOrder a Mexican pizza. Would be nice to receive a greeting or, God forbids, a smile from the staff. Pizza was good, but not the best Mexican pizza we ordered. Previous had acid cream, quacamole and corn chips above.
We stopped at Hope Pizza Place on our way back to Vancouver from Vernon. We decided to support them after we heard how fast they came to help when they were stranded after the motorways were washed out last November. We ordered...a Whopper Special Pizza and it was fantastic significant crust, perfect amount of toppings. It was even delivered hot to our car as we waited outside! Thank you. We will stop a point in Hope Pizza Place when we go through Hope.
Cost $40 for Bland. fat chicken wings that were super dry and a spaghetti lacked flavor was very dissapointment also pulled out a few black hair from spaghetti
After hearing the generosity and friendliness of your company during a catastrophic event in BC, tells me that all BC residents should make a plan to buy a pizza as soon as the flood is over! They are heroes and deserve to be supported as... the people twisted that supports you and so many volunteers!
Established in 2010, Hope Pizza Place is a family-run business conveniently located just off Highway 1 (next to a Chevron). On their official website, they tout the use of fresh – “Never frozen” – ingredients on all their pizzas. Doing so inevitably sets the bar...high because it’s easy to detect frozen ingredients, especially on a pizza pie. Frozen ingredients typically dry out and lack flavour whereas fresh ingredients are vibrant and give a pizza life. How does Hope Pizza Place stack up? We stopped at the local Chevron for a washroom break and to grab some drinks. While there, we spied Hope Pizza Place right next door. Given we still had a full slate of activities on our itinerary, we felt it would be wise to enjoy a quick bite before continuing with our summertime adventures. Thus, we got 2 slices of pepperoni pizza “to go.” For pizza-by-the-slice, I have to say our quick lunch was pretty tasty. You could tell the pizza was freshly made. It was light and fluffy; the crust had a nice crunch to it; the pepperoni was fairly generous and the cheese was just the right amount. The best part, though? Our lunch represented good value for money (VFM) since each slice was just a couple of dollars! FOOD: 4/5 SERVICE: 4/5 VALUE: 5/5 RECOMMENDATION: Well, we only tried the “by the slice” option, but even that gave hints as to how good the pizzas are at this establishment. If we happen to find ourselves in Hope for a longer period (i.e.: overnight), I’d definitely consider one of their specialty pizzas in future. Recommended!
